It's official. There's been a Sarah Palin sighting at the 139th Kentucky Derby. The photo to the left was tweeted at 3:41 p.m. from the account of @Silly_Willy.
Breitbart News picked it up and published the following story:
A day after addressing the National Rifle Association convention, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is attending the Kentucky Derby on Saturday. No word yet on whether Palin has placed a wager on a horse or horses. There are a lot of great story lines at the Derby. "Frac Daddy" was named as a tribute to oil field workers. "Normandy Invasion" honors World War II veterans. A female jockey is riding "Mylute." Trainer Todd Pletcher has saddled five horses. And Rick Pitino co-owns "Goldencents." Jockey Kevin Kriggins, who will attempt to become the first black jockey to win the race since 1902, will ride that horse. More
I tweeted my personal favorite, Normandy Invasion, to to the Guv.
Good luck to all riders and Happy Derby!
UPDATE:Sarah Palin is pictured below with her hostess Marylou Whitney.

Approximately 2 hours ago Gov. Sarah Palin posted the above captioned photo to her Facebook page. If you're unsure of the back-story, let me fill you in.
It's been brewing for a couple of days now and started with this MSNBC clip in which Melissa Harris-Perry tells us that we have to "break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents". Additionally, you should note the use of the word "collectivism" by Ms. Harris-Perry. Palin wanted to draw attention to this notion and tweeted the following:
This resulted in Sarah Palin tweeting the following:
Twitchy featured this tweet along with a few responses here.
Next came this follow-up tweet from Gov. Palin:
Again, Twitchy aggregated a number of tweets with both positive and negative reactions here thus the use of the word "unhinged" in this entry's title.
In my opinion, this is just another fine example of Palin's wit and wisdom.

In response to a comment from Tucker Carlson during an interview with Greta Van Susteren, Palin supporters set Twitter "on fire" with #SarahPalinDoes. As usual, Twitchy did a great job in featuring some of the best tweets here.
Mr. Carlson, in his infinite wisdom (or his complete ineptness) uttered, during Van Susteren's interview, that he was "not clear what Sarah Palin does". In my opinion, Carlson is simply part of the main stream (lame stream) media whose agenda is to tear down the most powerful and influential voice for grassroots Conservatives. I'm going to go out on and limb and guess that Mr. Carlson is not familiar with the following: It is often said in Alaska that “the Alaskan political landscape is littered with the bodies of those who underestimated Sarah Palin.”
In response to tweets with hashtag #SarahPalinDoes, Sarah Palin tweeted the following message of thanks:
Thanks Governor Palin. We've got your back too.#SarahPalinDoes appreciate support from those who are in it for a reason, not a season.

Earlier today a New York state judge blocked Mayor Bloomberg's decision to ban the sale of sugary drinks over 16 ounces. Judge Milton Tingling cited the law as "fraught with arbitrary and capricious consequences." Tony Lee over at Brietbart News has an excellent article with more of the details.
In response to this decision, Sarah Palin tweeted the following:
Rock on Sarah!Victory in NYC for liberty-loving soda drinkers. To politicians with too much time on their hands we say: Govt, stay out of my refrigerator!

Late last night, Sarah Palin called out Maxine Waters (D-CA) via her Twitter account for Ms. Waters' inaccurate stats on the United States jobs numbers.
Palin's Tweet:
More asinine Winning the Future(WTF) bs tactics from DC: Dem says sequester may cost 170 million jobs.Hey skookums media, check on that, eh?
You'll note that PDS (Palin Derangement Syndrome) is still in full force as the tweet below Palin's captured in this screenshot simply says "DIE".
Kudos to Palin supporter Gary Jackson, @gary4025, for taking the time to educate the low information voters on Palin's use of the word "skookums".
Here's just one of numerous stories on Maxine Waters' fabricated numbers. From The Blaze:
If Congress allows sequestration cuts to take effect, more than 170 million Americans could lose their jobs, according to Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.).“If sequestration takes place, that’s going to be a great setback. We don’t need to be having something like sequestration that’s going to cause these job losses — over 170 million jobs that could be lost,” Waters said.
She went on to say cuts must be done “over a long period of time.”
There’s just one problem with her estimation — and it’s a big one. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are only 134 million people working in the United States. So by Waters’ estimation, the sequester cuts would be so apocalyptic that nearly 40 million people who don’t have jobs would become even more unemployed. More
During a press conference on February 28, Waters told reporters of a visit by Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke who told members of congress that sequestration is not the optimal way to cut the federal budget.

Sarah Palin took to her Twitter and Facebook accounts yesterday to "fact check" and provide commentary on President Obama's State of the Union address. The graphic at the bottom is her summary of important topics that were seemingly too unimportant for President Obama to touch upon. Some fine examples of her responses (tweets) to President Obama's SOTU statements are here, here, here, and here. Early on, Palin introduced hash tag #sotUGottaBKiddingMe here. This is pure Sarah Palin. She's unleashed, unshackled, and on a mission to fight for her country. I love it!
From Palin's Facebook page:
Here's a telling reminder of what wasn't said tonight. What Obama DIDN'T say reflects his values & priorities as much as what he did.

From Palin's Facebook page:
Todd and I are in Dallas today to attend Chris Kyle’s memorial and funeral service. I find it sad to see that flags aren’t flying at half staff for this American hero. We’re surrounded today by American patriots here in Texas – by Chris’ fellow veterans and active duty warriors. In honor of them, I hope our commander in chief pays his respects in some gesture of condolence for their comrade in arms who sacrificed so much to keep him and all of us safe.
We may never know to what extent Chris kept us free or how many lives he saved by his brave actions in the line of fire. But his fellow warriors know how important he was. My son Track couldn’t meet Chris when Todd and I first met him because Track was deployed to Iraq. Then when we got to know Chris even better, our son was deployed in Afghanistan. We’ve met a lot of people in recent years, and Track has been privileged to meet them as well. But he said about Chris, “Mom, he’s the ONE person in the entire world I would be star-struck to meet. He’s it.”
God bless this great warrior. Let us keep his wife and children in our prayers, and may we never forget him or his sacrifice.

While at the site of the memorial service Palin was interviewed by PJMedia.
Twitchy has captured tweets and photos from today's memorial service here.
