Looks like Governor Sarah Palin is headed to my home state of Kentucky to attend a fundraiser for the Headley-Whitney Museum in Lexington. Palin will be the special guest of Marylou Whitney and her husband John Hendrickson. The museum's annual event is traditionally held the day after the Kentucky Derby on the museum grounds. There is, of course, speculation as to whether Todd and Sarah will attend the 139th Run for the Roses on Saturday, May 4th.
From Kentucky.com:
h/t MD4PFormer vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin will attend a fundraiser Sunday for the Headley-Whitney Museum in Lexington.
Palin and her husband, Todd Palin, will be guests of socialite and museum supporter Marylou Whitney and her husband, John Hendrickson, at the annual Brunch and Bibelots party.
The $150-a-seat event is held the day after the Kentucky Derby each year. Museum director and curator Amy Gundrum Greene said she doesn't know whether the Palins plan to attend the Kentucky Derby.
The museum's board members and supporters regularly invite celebrity guests, but Palin "is one of the more high-profile ones," Greene said. More
