The Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman reports that Palin will sign copies of her book "Going Rogue" next Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Curtis C. Menard Memorial Sports Center in Wasilla.
Palin signed copies last weekend at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage and Eielson Air Force Base near Fairbanks, but neither of those were open to the public. More

the record for political memoirs, set by retired general Colin Powell
in 1995. Publisher HarperCollins says it has gone back to the presses
13 times to keep up with demand and now has 2.8 million copies of

Jeffrey Judge of Eagle River has a Sarah Palin superfan in the family: his father.
"He took down the family pictures and put her on the wall," said Tammy, Judge's wife. "So now when you go over there, she's like, staring at you," his daughter added.
Don't tell Judge's dad, but he's getting a personalized, signed copy of Palin's book for Christmas -- one of countless copies of "Going Rogue" the former governor autographed Sunday at Elmendorf Air Force Base in what was supposed to be the final day of her national book tour. More

Sarah Palin's book tour has come to an end, and it wound down where it all began: Sandpoint, Idaho, where Palin was born in 1964.
Palin spent her first three months in that small town before her family moved to Alaska. On Thursday night, our colleague John T. Former Barack Obama campaign manager David Plouffe is getting his butt kicked by Sarah Palin at bookstores -- and the publishers of his "The Audacity to Win" have issued a plea to boost sales. Noting that Palin's tome, "Going Rogue," is "selling like crazy," Penguin posted a challenge on its Web site to "Beat Palin's Book for a Day." It said: "For just one day . . . let's try to make the sales of David Plouffe's [book] overtake Palin's." Yesterday, Palin was No. 1 on Amazon, with Plouffe at No. 231. More
