Thank you Sarah Palin for acknowledging our veterans. These brave men and women know what it is like to sacrafice on a daily basis and some made the ultimate sacrafice for the country they so dearly loved. Those that serve in the military fulfill their required duties each and every day under circumstances that most of us probably can't even imagine. For those that are presently serving or have served in the past, you have my deepest appreciation and gratitude. ~Jackie~

On this Veterans Day, please take a moment to remember all those who served in uniform past and present. Though the words in this famous poem are about a soldier, they apply to every member of our armed services. God bless them all. May we never forget the sacrifices made to secure our liberty.
It’s the Soldier, not the reporter,
Who has given us the freedom of the press.
It’s the Soldier, not the poet,
Who has given us the freedom of speech.
It’s the Soldier, not the politicians,
Who ensures our right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
It’s the Soldier who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag.
